The FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championships are now over and we hvae our winner in Corentin “Vitality Rockyy” Chevrey after beating Englishman Shaun “Shellzz” Springette.

It was a dramatic last-minute winner that sealed victory for Vitality Rockyy just to make the win even sweeter. The final was played on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across 2 matches just to make things fair.

Over six million players have played FUT Champions since last fall, qualifying for 192 spots in six regional finals and 32 berths in the Championship. As if that wasn’t enough of a prize, the top eight competitors including Vitality Rockyy and Shellzz have also punched their ticket to London, qualifying for the FIFA Interactive World Cup. Not a bad trip it seems!

“After a grueling two days of drama, triumph and heartbreak between 32 of the best FIFA 17 players, Corentin “Vitality Rockyy” Chevrey was crowned the best FIFA player in the world, taking home the grand prize of $160,000 USD.”FIFA Ultimate Team Championship

Remember when your parents told you that you are wasting your time playing video games? Well it pays pretty well now, so it’s okay to put 10,000 hours of FIFA practice in, right?
